Benicio Monserrate Rafael del Toro Sánchez, né le 19 février 1967, est un acteur portoricain. Lauréat d'un Oscar, d'un BAFTA, d'un Golden Globe, d'un Goya, du Prix d'interprétation masculine à Cannes et d'un Ours d'argent, il a joué dans des films ayant rapporté plus de 5,9 milliards de dollars dans le monde. Il débute au cinéma en 1988 dans 'Big Top Pee-wee', puis se fait remarquer en 1995 dans 'Usual Suspects'. Il remporte l'Oscar du meilleur second rôle pour 'Traffic' (2000) et est à nouveau nommé pour '21 Grammes' (2003). Parmi ses films notables figurent 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' (1998), 'Snatch' (2000), 'Sin City' (2005), 'Sicario' (2015) et des rôles dans l'univers Marvel et 'Star Wars : Les Derniers Jedi' (2017). À la télévision, il est nommé aux Emmy pour 'Escape at Dannemora' (2018).
