Chow Yun-Fat (chinois : 周潤發, né le 18 mai 1955), anciennement connu sous le nom de Donald Chow, est un acteur hongkongais. Il est surtout célèbre pour ses collaborations avec le réalisateur John Woo dans cinq films d'action hongkongais du genre 'héroïque bloodshed' : 'A Better Tomorrow', 'A Better Tomorrow II', 'The Killer', 'Once a Thief' et 'Hard Boiled'. En Occident, il est reconnu pour ses rôles de Li Mu-bai dans 'Tigre et Dragon' et de Sao Feng dans 'Pirates des Caraïbes : Jusqu'au bout du monde'. Il joue principalement dans des films dramatiques et a remporté trois Hong Kong Film Awards du meilleur acteur et deux Golden Horse Awards du meilleur acteur à Taïwan. Il a débuté sa carrière cinématographique en 1976 avec Goldig Films, la troisième plus grande société de production de l'époque.
