Dennis Chinnery

Dennis Chinnery était un acteur britannique, connu pour ses performances à la télévision. Après son service national dans la marine, il étudia le théâtre à la RADA, dont il sortit diplômé en 1949. Son travail théâtral comprenait des apparitions à l'Old Vic. Parmi ses crédits télévisuels : Hancock's Half Hour, Dixon of Dock Green, Z-Cars, Softly, Softly, The Saint, The Avengers, The Prisoner, The Champions, Public Eye, Special Branch, Oh, Brother!, The Laughter of a Fool, Thriller et Survivors. Il apparut également dans trois séries de Doctor Who - The Chase, Genesis of the Daleks et The Twin Dilemma. Le personnage du Dr Chinnery dans The League of Gentlemen fut nommé d'après lui. Il naquit à Romford, dans l'Essex, d'Arthur F Chinnery et de son épouse Dorothy (née Mills). Chinnery était aussi artiste et peintre.
