Vie et carriere
Jennifer Fox est productrice, réalisatrice, scénariste et chef-opératrice. Parmi ses films, on compte Beirut: The Last Home Movie (Grand Prix et meilleure photographie, Sundance Film Festival 1988 ; Frontline WGBH), le feuilleton de dix heures An American Love Story (Festivals de Berlin et Sundance 1999, Gracie Award 1999, Prime Time PBS/BBC/ARTE), la série en six parties Flying Confessions of a Free Woman (IDFA et Sundance Film Festivals 2008 ; Sundance Channel), et le long métrage My Reincarnation (nommé aux Emmy Awards, IDFA et Hamptons Film Festivals ; Prix du public IDFA 2010 ; Première POV 2012). Fox a récemment achevé son premier film de fiction, The Tale, qu'elle a écrit, réalisé et produit, avec un casting de stars comprenant Laura Dern, Ellen Burstyn, Elizabeth Debicki, Jason Ritter et Common.
