Vie et carriere
Lisa Codrington, actrice et dramaturge renommée basée à Toronto, a été saluée par une nomination au Prix du Gouverneur général pour le théâtre et a reçu le Prix K.M. Hunter Theater ainsi que le Prix Carol Bolt pour les dramaturges. Ses crédits d'écriture impressionnants incluent des œuvres acclamées comme "The Prescription – 21 Black Futures" (Obsidian/CBC), "The Adventures of the Black Girl in Her Search for God" (Shaw Festival, Karamu House), "Up the Garden Path" (Obsidian Theatre), "The Aftermath" (Groundswell Festival, Femfest), "The Colony – Opera to Go" (Tapestry), et "Cast Iron" (Nightwood Theatre & Obsidian Theatre).
