Norman MacOwan était un acteur et écrivain britannique. Il a commencé sa carrière au théâtre en 1903, et a écrit et interprété plusieurs pièces dans les années 1920 et 1930, notamment The Blue Lagoon (1921), The Infinite Shoeblack (1930) et Glorious Morning (1938). Il est apparu dans plusieurs films, dont BBC Sunday-Night Theatre (1950), Tread Softly Stranger (1958), Kidnapped (1960) et The City of the Dead (1960). Il était marié à Violet [Ellen] Stephenson (actrice). Il est décédé le 31 décembre 1961 à Hastings, East Sussex, Angleterre.
