Paul Edward Valentine Giamatti (né le 6 juin 1967) est un acteur américain. Parmi ses récompenses figurent un Primetime Emmy Award, trois Golden Globes, et des nominations pour deux Oscars et un BAFTA. Après des études à la Yale School of Drama, il débute au théâtre à Broadway dans 'Arcadia' (1995) et 'Racing Demon' (1995). Son rôle dans 'Private Parts' (1997) le révèle au cinéma, suivi de films comme 'Saving Private Ryan' (1998) et 'Man on the Moon' (1999).
