Vie et carriere
Ricky Blitt est un scénariste, producteur exécutif, créateur de séries et acteur vocal basé à West Hollywood, en Californie. Débutant sa carrière comme auteur pour des émissions telles que The Parent Hood, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, The Jon Stewart Show, On the Record with Bob Costas, Costas Now et Brotherly Love, il devient en 1999 co-producteur exécutif et scénariste pour la série animée Family Guy. En 2005, il écrit le scénario de The Ringer. En 2007, il crée et produit The Winner. Blitt possède également la société de production « Candy Bar Productions ». Il a prêté sa voix à Steve Smith dans l'épisode pilote de la série animée American Dad!, mais a été remplacé par Scott Grimes dans la série proprement dite. En 2010, il crée la série télévisée Romantically Challenged avec Alyssa Milano, diffusée du 19 avril 2010 au 17 mai 2010 sur ABC.
