Robert Schmidt Barracano (né le 25 septembre 1965) est un réalisateur et scénariste américain. Il est notamment connu pour les films 'Wrong Turn' et 'Crime and Punishment in Suburbia'. Il a créé un pilote nommé 'American Town' pour la Twentieth Century Fox et a réalisé un épisode de 'Masters of Horror' intitulé 'Right to Die'. Son thriller 'The Alphabet Killer', qui l'a réuni avec Eliza Dushku ('Wrong Turn'), Martin Donovan ('Right to Die') et Michael Ironside ('Crime and Punishment in Suburbia'), a été distribué internationalement par New Films International. Il est marié à la photographe Zoë Barracano.
