Rakim Athelaston Mayers (geboren op 3 oktober 1988), beter bekend onder zijn artiestennaam A$AP Rocky, is een Amerikaanse rapper, muziekproducent en platenbaas. Hij groeide op in Harlem en begon zijn carrière als lid van de hiphopcollectieve A$AP Mob, waar hij zijn naam aan ontleende. In augustus 2011 lekte zijn single 'Peso' online uit en werd al snel op de radio gedraaid. Eind dat jaar bracht hij zijn veelgeprezen debuutmixtape 'Live. Love. A$AP' uit. Het succes hiervan leidde tot een platencontract bij Polo Grounds Music, RCA Records en Sony Music Entertainment.
