Aljin Abella

Aljin studeerde in 2006 af aan NIDA. Hij heeft als acteur zowel nationaal als internationaal gewerkt in film, televisie, animatie, theater en voice-over. Zijn toneeldebuut maakte hij in 2005 bij The Melbourne Theatre Company en Belvoir Street Theatre in de productie van The Sapphires, waarna hij zijn rol hernam in de daaropvolgende tournees naar Zuid-Korea en Londen. In 2015 speelde hij in twee nationale tournees: Anything Goes voor Opera Australia en hij hernam de titelrol in Monkey: Journey to the West voor Bell Shakespeare en Theatre of Image. Eerdere toneelrollen zijn onder meer La Cage Aux Folles, The Good Person of Szechuan, Moths, Triumph, Strangers in Between, Three Sisters, The Matchmaker, Love Labour’s Lost, The Laramie Project, The Fortunes of Richard Mahony, Anything Goes en The New Black.
