Amy Poehler (geboren op 16 september 1971) is een Amerikaanse actrice, komiek, schrijfster, producente en regisseuse. Ze studeerde improvisatie aan Chicago's Second City en ImprovOlympic in de vroege jaren 90 en was medeoprichter van de improvisatiekomediegroep Upright Citizens Brigade. De groep verhuisde in 1996 naar New York, waar hun optreden in 1998 een halfuur durend sketchprogramma op Comedy Central werd. Poehler is ook medeoprichter van het Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
