William Francis Nighy (geboren op 12 december 1949) is een Engelse acteur. Hij is bekend van zijn werk op het witte doek en het toneel en heeft talloze prijzen ontvangen, waaronder twee BAFTA Awards, een Golden Globe Award en nominaties voor een Academy Award en een Tony Award. Nighy begon zijn carrière bij het Everyman Theatre in Liverpool en maakte zijn Londense debuut bij het Royal National Theatre in 1977. Hij brak door bij het grote publiek met zijn rol in 'Love Actually' (2003), waarvoor hij een BAFTA won. Andere bekende filmrollen zijn Davy Jones in de 'Pirates of the Caribbean'-reeks en Viktor in de 'Underworld'-films. Zijn recente rol in 'Living' (2022) leverde hem zijn eerste Oscarnominatie op. Op televisie won hij een BAFTA TV Award voor 'State of Play' en een Golden Globe voor 'Gideon's Daughter'.
