Brian Michael Lynch (geboren op 21 juni 1973) is een Amerikaans scenarioschrijver voor films en stripboeken. Hij was de eerste schrijver en medebedenker van 'Angel: After the Fall' voor IDW Publishing, samen met Joss Whedon. Lynch is vooral bekend van het schrijven van de scenario's voor de films 'Puss in Boots' (2011), 'Minions' (2015), 'The Secret Life of Pets' (2016), 'The Secret Life of Pets 2' (2019) en 'Minions: The Rise of Gru' (2022). Daarnaast schreef hij nog niet geproduceerde filmbewerkingen van zowel 'The Sims' als 'The Muppets'.
