Buddy Adler was een Amerikaanse scenarioschrijver, filmproducent en voormalig productiehoofd voor 20th Century Fox. Als producent ontving hij twee Oscarnominaties voor de films 'From Here to Eternity' en 'Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing'. In 1957 kreeg hij de prestigieuze Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award van de Academy.
