Callum McDougall

Callum McDougall is een Britse filmproducent en unit productiemanager. Hij begon in 1979 als productie-assistent bij projecten als 'Victor/Victoria' en de tv-serie 'Hammer House of Horror'. Hij klom op tot derde assistent-regisseur voor films als 'Curse of the Pink Panther', 'Monty Python's The Meaning of Life', 'The Keep', 'Sheena: Queen of the Jungle' en 'The Bride'. Als tweede assistent-regisseur werkte hij aan meer dan twintig films en series, waaronder 'Club Paradise', 'Gothic', 'The Living Daylights', 'Licence to Kill', 'Air America', 'The Witches', 'Jim Henson's The Storyteller', 'The Muppet Christmas Carol', 'Inspector Morse' en 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles', waar hij later unit manager werd. In de jaren 90 werd hij unit productiemanager voor films als 'GoldenEye', 'Fierce Creatures', '101 Dalmatians' (live-action), 'Tomorrow Never Dies' en 'Alien Love Triangle'. Hij was ook uitvoerend producent voor DNA Films bij 'Beautiful Creatures', 'Strictly Sinatra' en 'The Final Curtain'. Als producent co-produceerde hij 'The Beach' en 'Die Another Day', produceerde hij 'The Parole Officer' en was hij uitvoerend producent voor onder meer 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban', 'Casino Royale', 'Quantum of Solace', 'Wrath of the Titans', 'Skyfall', 'Spectre', 'Into the Woods', 'We Are Many' en 'Mary Poppins Returns'. Zijn meest geprezen werk is de Eerste Wereldoorlogfilm '1917' uit 2019, die hij produceerde en die meerdere prijzen won, waaronder twee BAFTA's en een Golden Globe. Hij is lid van BAFTA, de Producers Guild of America en de Directors Guild of America.
