Darrell Rooney is een Canadese animator, storyboardtekenaar en regisseur voor The Walt Disney Company. Hij is vooral bekend als regisseur van 'The Lion King II: Simba's Pride' en 'Mulan II' bij Disneytoon Studios. Hij begon zijn carrière bij Disney in 1978 en werkte als visueel effecten-animator aan de film 'Tron'.
