Darrell Rooney is een Canadese animator, storyboardkunstenaar en regisseur voor The Walt Disney Company, vooral bekend van het regisseren van The Lion King II: Simba's Pride en Mulan II bij Disneytoon Studios. Hij begon bij Disney in 1978 en werkte als visuele effectenanimator aan Tron.
