Leven en carriere
Fiona Glascott is een Ierse actrice. Ze werd genomineerd voor een Irish Film and Television Award voor Beste Vrouwelijke Bijrol in Film/TV voor de film Goldfish Memory uit 2003. Op het podium in Londen verscheen ze onder andere als Margery Pinchwife in The Country Wife (Haymarket, West End); Mahler's Conversion (Aldwych theatre, West End); Hitchcock Blonde (Royal Court en Lyric Theatre, West End) en in de originele productie van Whipping It Up in het Bush Theatre. Theatercredits in Dublin omvatten: A Life (Abbey Theatre/Nationale Tour); The Spirit of Annie Ross (Gate Theatre) en als Nina in The Seagull (Corn Exchange). Televisiecredits zijn onder meer: Foyle's War; Instinct; Poirot - After the Funeral; Fallen; Jericho; Little Devils; Murder in Suburbia en The Bill (allemaal voor ITV); The Long Firm; Ballykissangel; Any Time Now en Casualty @ Holby en als Rose Bourne in de sitcom Clone (voor de BBC) en Bachelors Walk geregisseerd door John Carney (voor RTÉ). Op film verscheen Glascott als: Cathy in Omagh (regisseur Pete Travis); Goldfish Memory (IFTA-nominatie - Beste Vrouwelijke Bijrol 2003); Crushproof (Paul Tickell); Pete's Meteor (met Mike Myers); This Is My Father (Paul Quinn) en als Fiona, een hopeloze Engelse actrice in Hollywood in The Deal (met William H. Macy en Meg Ryan, 2007) en als Nadia in Anton Tsjechovs The Duel (Dover Koshashvili). In de CBS-televisiefilm Miss Irena's Children uit 2009 speelde ze samen met Anna Paquin, Goran Visnjic en Marcia Gay Harden, terwijl ze in 2010 te gast was in de laatste tweedelige aflevering van ITV's hitserie A Touch of Frost, waarin ze de getroebleerde dochter speelde van Frosts voormalige corrupte collega. In 2011 verscheen Glascott in de BBC-sitcom Episodes als Diane, de fictieve ex-vrouw van Matt LeBlanc.
