Frances de la Tour is een Engelse televisie-, theater- en filmactrice. Ze is vooral bekend van haar rol als Miss Ruth Jones in de televisieserie 'Rising Damp' (1974-1978), Madame Olympe Maxime in 'Harry Potter en de Vuurbeker' (2005) en 'Harry Potter en de Relieken van de Dood – Deel 1' (2010), en Mrs. Lintott in Alan Bennett's 'The History Boys'. Ze won een Tony Award en drie Olivier Awards.
