Jack Epps Jr. (geboren op 3 november 1949) is een Amerikaans scenarioschrijver, auteur en docent. Hij is vooral bekend van populaire films uit de jaren 80, zoals Top Gun, Legal Eagles en The Secret of My Success, die hij schreef met zijn vaste partner Jim Cash. Epps Jr. studeerde af aan het College of Arts and Letters van Michigan State University en geeft sindsdien les aan de University of Southern California.
