Michaela is momenteel een vast lid van The Groundlings in Los Angeles. Voordat ze naar Los Angeles verhuisde, hield ze zich bezig met regionaal theater. Ze behaalde haar BFA aan de Boston University School For The Arts. Haar vader is wiskundeprofessor aan de Syracuse University en haar moeder geeft Latijn in de omgeving van Boston.
