Neil Lamont

Neil Lamont is een van de meest gerespecteerde en gewilde art directors van het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Zijn eerste rol als production designer was voor Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Daarvoor was hij supervising art director op Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Na Solo: A Star Wars Story, waarin hij samenwerkte met Ron Howard, werkte hij opnieuw met Stuart Craig aan Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Onlangs voltooide hij Disclaimer, een Apple TV-serie van Alfonso Cuarón die volgend jaar uitkomt. Lamont begon in 1980 als assistent in de art department bij For Your Eyes Only, onder leiding van zijn vader Peter Lamont. Hij klom snel op tot supervising art director voor GoldenEye. Hij werkte aan grote filmfranchises zoals Star Wars, Harry Potter en James Bond. Als supervising art director van alle acht Harry Potter-films won hij de Art Director's Guild Award voor Excellence in Production Design voor Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, en een Award voor Contribution to Cinematic Imagery voor de hele reeks. Andere opmerkelijke credits zijn The World Is Not Enough, Edge of Tomorrow, Gambit, The Avengers, In Love and War, en The Young Americans. Zijn carrière omvat ook films als Enemy at the Gates, Titanic, The English Patient, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, The Three Musketeers, Total Recall en License to Kill.
