Stuart Beattie (geboren 1972) is een Australisch scenarioschrijver en filmregisseur. Hij volgde onderwijs aan de Knox Grammar School in Sydney, Australië, waar zijn moeder Sandra als taaldocent werkte, en studeerde later aan de Charles Sturt University in Bathurst.
