Leven en carriere
Ukweli Roach volgde zijn opleiding aan de Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). In het theater speelde hij onder meer in 'Bacchae' voor het National Theatre, 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' in het Almeida Theatre, 'Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train' in het Young Vic, 'Nightfall' in het Bridge Theatre, '5, 6, 7, 8 (Rough Cuts)' in het Royal Court Theatre, en 'Romeo and Juliet' en 'Helen' in Shakespeare’s Globe. Op televisie is hij bekend van series als 'Piglets', 'Big Mood', 'Wolf', 'Annika', 'The Midwich Cuckoos', 'Humans' (seizoen drie), 'Hard Sun', 'Blindspot', 'Dickensian', 'The Royals', 'Grantchester', 'Silk' (seizoen drie), 'Drifters', 'Starlings', 'Monroe' (seizoen twee) en 'Eternal Law'. Zijn filmwerk omvat 'One Day', 'Venus and the Sun' en 'StreetDance 3D'.
