Description

De Studio is a cultural hotspot on Mechelseplein in the heart of Antwerp. It connects a young audience (ages 0 to 30) with art, culture, and media, with strong attention to the urban and social context and care for the vulnerable position of young people and artists. Our building is a natural habitat for both children and youth, for families and hipsters alike. It is organized so that we can transform from a theater hall into a party club, an art gallery, or a conference space. De Studio is a place where families, schools, teenagers, twenty-somethings, party crashers, worriers, critics, seekers, and finders feel at home. An open house that gives young people the space to tell their stories. Super-diverse theater companies, creators, performers, curators, and artists turn their daring dreams into extraordinary deeds here. And tomorrow? Tomorrow everything could be different.
