Musea Hunnegem

Description

On the Hunnegem site, the cradle of the city, three museums are housed. HUGE displays the origins of the city and the Hunnegem Benedictine convent in the former Romanesque church, with attention to neo-Gothic architecture, Marian devotion, monastic life, and education. On the upper floor of the priory, the MAVF, Museum and Archive of Flemish Film, can be visited. In the Museum Luchtoorlog WO2, Wings of Memory provides an overview of recovered World War II aircraft from the region.
