Elk jaar nodigen Max, een succesvolle restauranteigenaar, en z’n milieubewuste vrouw Véro een groep vrienden uit in hun prachtige strandhuis om het begin van de vakantie te vieren. Maar dit jaar is hun vriend Ludo gewond geraakt in een ernstig ongeval. Dit leidt tot een dramatische reeks reacties en emotionele situaties.
